IN-PERSON CLASSES!

What to bring: a yoga mat, block, a small hand towel, yogitoes or other mat length towel, water and an open mind… We do have mats and towels to rent for $1 each but encourage you to bring your own!

 

Class Descriptions:

Basics -Power Yoga: Great for beginners or those who want to refine their practice. Emphasis is on foundational poses, breathwork and alignment.  Studio space is warm, but comfortable. Must be 13 or older, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Power Yoga: This is an all-levels power flow yoga class appropriate for everyone. Offering a challenging flow, with options given for modifications.  Studio is heated. Must be 16 or older, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

$5 Community Classes: A basic power flow yoga class taught by certified teachers in training.  Appropriate for all levels.

Yin Yoga: Yin style of yoga is a perfect compliment to our vinyasa flow classes. Yin is a passive practice, increasing the energy flow into our deep connective tissues. A majority of the poses are grounded postures and are held for 3-5 minutes. Classes are mindful and often offer a meditation which is carried through the class while holding the different poses. “We don’t use the body to get into a pose. We use the pose to get into the body.” Must be 13 or older, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Prenatal Yoga: A modified, vinyasa style practice tailored to any stage of pregnancy. Stretches designed to relieve tension and strength building poses to keep muscles toned are just a few ways prenatal yoga helps mom feel better physically. Awaken a greater trust within your body's capabilities and deepen your bond with baby through this very special yoga practice. Join in the community of mothers and share questions, receive support and feel empowered.

Postpartum Yoga: It is about getting grounded in yourself again, and feeling strong in your body, so that you can feel confident in your new role as a mother. Find strength and relax through this new period of your life guiding in your ability to be at ease and reminding you to breath deeply.

Kids Yoga: A co-creative and playful experience of yoga through imagination, song, movement, games and stories.  Kids yoga is for children ages 4 through 8 years of age. Our yoga classes for young people empower kids with the tools and opportunity to grow physically, emotionally and spiritually, helping them connect with themselves and others with kindness, compassion and understanding. *We do offer In-Be-Tween Kids Yoga Series for ages 8-13, check schedule for availability.
