Kim found yogaErie after many years of running and cycling. She discovered that the hot power classes were not just a great physical workout, but that they strengthened her from the inside-out which inspired further growth and change. Yoga taught her to listen to the wisdom of her body and how to find peace of mind.
Kim completed her Level 1 and Level 2 yoga teacher trainings with Sean and Karen Conley of Amazing Yoga, Pittsburgh, PA. She is grateful to give back to the yoga community and to help guide others as they find the power and path to self. In 2015, she was trained to teach mindfulness to students in school and was recently certified by the Baptiste Institute to teach Kids Yoga. She is committed to bringing yoga and mindfulness to young people empowering them with tools for life.
Kim lives with her supportive husband, three teenage children, her dog, a cat, and several backyard chickens tucked into the woods near Edinboro. She has worked for Sarah Reed Children’s Center and the Fairview School District for ten years supporting students through the Refocus Program. In her free time, she enjoys being outside and horseback riding with her daughter.
